6-3-6-1: FINAL APPROVAL:
The city council shall not give final approval to any proposed subdivision until:
   A.   The planning commission has recommended approval or disapproval of the final plat.
   B.   The city engineer has recommended approval or disapproval of the subdivision improvement plans and specifications.
   C.   The subdivider presents his performance guarantee in the amount and form in accordance with these regulations and as approved by the city attorney.
   D.   The city council, after receiving recommendations from the planning commission and city engineer shall then consider the final plat of the proposed subdivision.
The following certificate shall appear on the final plat directly below the planning commission certificate:
The final plat entitled                       has received approval by the City Council of the City of Marquette Heights, Illinois. This plat shall be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds, Tazewell County, Illinois, within one year of this date, otherwise this plat shall become VOID.

The following certificate shall appear on the cover sheet of the engineering plans for the subdivision:
            APPROVAL BY THE CITY OF MARQUETTE HEIGHTS

After approval of the final plat, plans and specifications by the city council, the final plat shall be recorded by the subdivider. (Ord. 287, 11-8-1982)
