3-11-19: ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS:
An owner or owner's agent, may appeal a registration denial or revocation to the City Council within ten (10) days of the date of written notice to such owner or owner's agent of the denial or revocation of registration. The appeal must be in writing and state the reasons the owner or owner's agent disagrees with the determination to deny or revoke registration or the reasons for the denial or revocation. The Mayor shall notify the owner or owner's agent in writing within five (5) days of the receipt of the written appeal that the appeal has been received, and the appeal shall be placed on the agenda for the next City Council meeting. At the next City Council meeting, the owner or owner's agent may address the Council regarding the reasons the owner or owner's agent disagrees with the determination to deny or revoke the registration or the reasons for denial or revocation. The Mayor shall issue the decision of the Council in writing to the owner or owner's agent within ten (10) days of the Council meeting. (Ord. 889, 6-24-2019)
