A. Department Created; Superintendent Appointed: A park department is hereby created, which shall consist of a superintendent of parks, who shall be appointed by the city administrator, and such other additional employees as may be authorized.
B. Duties Of Superintendent: The superintendent shall have charge of the maintenance and upkeep of the city parks, and shall perform such other duties as prescribed by the city administrator. (1985 Code § 1-43; amd. 2004 Code)
