A. Department Created; Sexton Appointed: A cemetery department is hereby created, which shall be in the charge of a sexton, who shall be appointed by, and work under the direction of, the city administrator, and perform such duties as are now or may hereafter be prescribed by the city administrator.
B. Cemetery Employees: The city administrator may employ occasional labor during the spring and summer seasons as the work at the city cemetery may require, and may employ such additional permanent employees as may be authorized by said city administrator. (1985 Code § 1-42; amd. 2004 Code)
