12-1-6: BASIS FOR ESTABLISHING THE AREAS OF SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD:
The areas of special flood hazard identified by FEMA in a scientific and engineering report entitled, "The Flood Insurance Study For Stephens County, Oklahoma And Incorporated Areas" dated September 29, 2010, with the accompanying flood insurance rate map (FIRM) are hereby adopted on September 29, 2010, by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter. However, until this date the current effective flood maps for Stephens County dated January 16, 1992, shall be used for this purpose until September 29, 2010. (Ord. 399, 9-28-2010)
