A. City Function; Leased To Authority: The collection and disposal of garbage, trash, refuse and other solid waste is hereby declared to be a municipal function of the city, and leased to the Marlow municipal authority as a protection of the public health.
B. Enforcement: The police powers of the city shall be invoked when necessary for the enforcement of this chapter.
C. Refuse Collection And Disposal Method: In addition, the city may collect and dispose of refuse, as it deems necessary; provided, that such disposal shall be an approved method of incineration (not open burning) or by landfill and daily cover. (Ord. 325, 6-29-1993)
