2-9-5: DUTIES OF BOARD AND OFFICERS:
   A.   Board Responsibilities: Responsibilities and powers of the board shall include: 1) help in planning center activities; and 2) hire or dismiss and supervise the employed center staff members. It shall also help raise the necessary funds to implement a well rounded schedule of programs.
   B.   Duties Of Officers: The duties of the officers of the board shall include:
      1.   The president will give leadership to the organization, preside at all meetings, perform all duties associated with the office, and vote only in case of a tie.
      2.   The vice president shall assist the president, preside over meetings in the absence of the president, and share responsibilities for leadership.
      3.   The secretary shall take minutes at each meeting. Minutes shall be accessible to the general membership of the center.
      4.   The treasurer shall receive and deposit all monies in the bank, keeping an accurate record of income and expenditures, and pay documented debts by check. (1985 Code § 1-53)
