A. Contract For Services: The planning commission shall have the authority to contract for necessary professional services, within the limits of any appropriation fixed by the city council. All compensation for such services shall also be fixed by the city council.
B. Necessary Expenses: The planning commission may incur other necessary expenses, within the limits of the city council appropriation, to carry out its purposes and responsibilities. (1985 Code § 15-4)
