2-1-4: REMOVALS AND VACANCIES:
   A.   Removal: Members of the municipal planning commission may be removed by the mayor, with the approval of the city council, for inefficiency, neglect of duty, malefaction in office or other cause established by resolution of the city council.
   B.   Vacancies: Vacancies occurring other than through the expiration of a term shall be filled only for the unexpired term. (1985 Code § 1-39)
