§ 50.03 OFFICES; RULES; MEETINGS; RECORDS.
   (A)   After appointment the members of the Commission shall qualify by taking and filing with the Recorder the oath for public offices of the town and they shall not be permitted to serve until they shall so qualify.
   (B)   At the first meeting of the Commission after the first members shall be appointed and thereafter at the first meeting of each year, the members of the Commission shall organize by electing one of their members President and another Vice President, and by electing a Secretary who need not be a member of the Commission. The Commission shall meet on the first Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the municipal building. The Secretary shall keep an accurate record of all the fiscal affairs of the Commission, and shall keep a minute book in which he or she shall record the proceedings and transactions of each meeting of the Commission. The Secretary shall be paid such compensation for his or her services as the Commission shall fix from year to year. The Recorder of the town shall be ex officio Treasurer of the Commission and he or she shall take such oath and enter such bond as the Commission shall determine.
   (C)   The President shall chair all meetings and in the event of the absence of the President, the Vice President shall so preside.
   (D)   The Commission is hereby empowered and authorized to promulgate and amend from time to time such rules and regulations as may be necessary, appropriate, convenient or incidental hereto to provide for penalties for the violation thereof. The Town Attorney shall be the official counsel for said Commission and shall advise it on all legal matters.
