§ 35.24 HOLIDAYS.

All officers and employees shall be given one day off on the day recognized by the state for the following holidays: New Years Day; Memorial; Independence; Labor; Thanksgiving; and Christmas. No other holidays shall be recognized except by proclamation of the governing body.
