(A) There is hereby adopted by reference for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations, the 2022 State Building Code as promulgated by the West Virginia State Fire Commission, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the town. A copy of such will be available in the town offices and available for public inspection during regular business hours.
(B) The standards and requirements set out by the International Code Council and American Standards Institute, as listed below, shall have the same force and effect as if set out verbatim herein (except that any and all references to the ICC Electrical Code shall mean the National Electrical Code).
(C) There is hereby adopted the following codes:
(1) The International Building Code, Edition, 2015;
(2) The International Plumbing Code, Edition, 2015;
(3) The International Mechanical Code, Edition, 2015;
(4) The International Property Maintenance Code, Edition, 2015;
(5) The International Residential Code, Edition, 2015;
(6) The ICC/ANSI Standards for Accessibility and Usable Buildings and Facilities, Edition, 2009;
(7) The International Existing Building Code, Edition, 2015; and
(8) The National Electrical Code, Edition, 2014.
