The town shall be entitled to have a lien upon the abutting real estate for any work done by the town in repairing or rebuilding any sidewalk or driveway entrance in the town, as compensation for work done in § 95.02. But the lien so created shall be discharged from and after 90 days from the completion of the work so done by the town, unless within such respective period, the town shall, within the stated 90 days after the completion of said work, cause to be recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Pocahontas County, a notice of such lien, which notice shall be sufficient in form and effect as follows:
