For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
PARK TREES. Trees, shrubs, bushes and all other woody vegetation on or in public parks and all areas owned by the town, or to which the public has free access as a park.
STREET TREES. Trees, shrubs, bushes and all other woody vegetation on land lying between property lines on either side of all streets, avenues or ways within the town.
STREETS, AVENUES and WAYS. The entire width of every public way or right-of-way when any part thereof is open to the use of the public, as a matter of right, for purposes of vehicular and pedestrian traffic and extending from property line to property line.
YARD TREES. Trees, shrubs, bushes and all other woody vegetation now or hereafter growing on any private property in the town.
