§ 32.21 WRITTEN AGREEMENT.
   Pursuant to the provisions of W. Va. Code § 30-29-8, as amended, that on and after the effective date of this subchapter, all law enforcement officers shall, before attending a law enforcement officers’ training academy, be required to enter into a written agreement with the town, which agreement shall require and specify that if such employee should voluntarily discontinue employment with the town within one year following completion of such training curriculum, such employee shall be obligated to pay to the town the pro rata portion of the sum of such compensation which is equal to that part of such year which the employee has chosen not to remain in the employ of the town.
