§ 31.30 AUTHORITY AND DUTIES.
   The Town Attorney shall be the legal advisor and counselor of the town and for all officers of the town. He or she shall represent the town in all courts and all proceedings in which the town, or any town officer or employee in his or her official capacity, is a party, and he or she shall perform all such duties incidental to his or her office as may be required of him or her by the Town Council and Mayor. He or she shall also act as the parliamentarian for the governing body. The Town Attorney shall receive such regular compensation, and such fees for special services, as may be agreed upon by the Town Council and the Town Attorney.
