§ 151.27 INSPECTION OF REAL PROPERTY PRIOR TO SALE, RENTAL OR TRANSFER OF TITLE.
   (A)   No later than 21 days prior to the sale, rental or transfer of title of real property located within the city and within the area governed by the city’s Building Department regulations, either party to the transaction shall notify the city of such impending sale, rental or transfer of title to real property and request an inspection pursuant to this section and the issuance of an occupancy permit therefor.
   (B)   No person(s), group, business or otherwise shall be permitted to occupy such real property unless a certificate of occupancy is issued on or before the date of such transaction.
   (C)   The fee for the conduct of the necessary inspection shall be as follows:
      (1)   (a)   For a one-family residence of not more than three levels renting: a fee of $100; and
         (b)   For a one-family residence of not more than three levels selling: a fee of $450.
      (2)   For a one-floor apartment or condominium, if ever permitted, within a multi-floor apartment or condominium building: a fee of $450;
      (3)   For a one-story, free-standing structure designed for food or beverage service: a fee of $650;
      (4)   For a one-story, free-standing storefront structure: a fee of $550; and
      (5)   For a one-story, multi-storefront structure: a per-unit fee of $850.
   (D)   The applicant for such inspection shall pay a filing fee of $50 at the time of such application.
