§ 31.305 POSITION CREATED.
   (A)   There is created the office of Superintendent of Public Works.
   (B)   He or she shall be appointed by and responsible to the Mayor. He or she shall have the management and control of all matters and things pertaining to public works.
   (C)   The Superintendent shall be paid a salary as appropriated and fixed by the City Council.
   (D)   The Superintendent shall carry out such duties as are assigned to him or her by the Mayor.
