(A) The Heating and Ventilation Inspector is authorized and empowered to enforce all code and ordinance provisions relating to heating, air-conditioning and ventilating equipment.
(B) No heating, air-conditioning or ventilating installation shall be covered, enclosed or closed in until approved by the Heating and Ventilation Inspector.
(C) (1) The Heating and Ventilation Inspector shall have the power to order work stopped on the construction, alteration or repair or heating, air-conditioning and ventilating equipment when such work is being done in violation of this code or any ordinance.
(2) Work shall not be resumed after the issuance of such a stop order, except on written permission of the Heating and Ventilation Inspector; provided that, if the stop order is an oral one, it shall be followed by a written stop order within one hour.
