Before entering upon the duties of his or her office, the Heating and Ventilation Inspector shall take and subscribe the oath of office and shall execute, acknowledge and deliver to the city a good and sufficient bond with two or more sureties conditioned for the faithful discharge of his or her duties of his or her office. The bond shall meet with the approval of the City Council.
