§ 118.015 LICENSE REQUIRED; APPLICATION.
   It is unlawful to engage in the business of operating a taxicab in the municipality without first having secured a license therefor. It is unlawful for a taxicab not licensed by the city to pick up passengers within the city limits. Applications for such licenses shall be made in writing to the City Clerk and shall state thereon the name of the applicant, the intended place of business and the number of cabs to be operated. If the applicant is a corporation, the names and addresses of the president and secretary thereof shall be given.
