§ 116.195 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   LANDSCAPE AND LAWN CARE PROFESSIONAL. Any person that employs one or more individuals for the purpose of providing landscape maintenance for clients, including, without limitation, the cultivating or beautifying of gardens; the trimming of hedges, plants or grass; or the raking or sweeping of debris and leaves; snow removal.
   LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE. The improvement and/or maintenance of the appearance of an area of land by planting and/or maintaining trees, shrubs, grass or other plants and lawn ornaments; or by altering the contour of the ground.
   LICENSEE. A holder of a landscape and lawn care professional’s license issued by the city. The LICENSEE shall include agents and employees of licensee.
   PERSON. Any individual, partnership, firm or corporation.
   VEHICLE. Any motor-driven vehicle used by the licensee to transport a work crew, equipment, yard waste and/or debris.
   YARD WASTE. Leaves with twig stems no longer than four inches, grass clippings and similar garden debris and waste, tree branches, limbs and other similar wood materials; unusable or unwanted substances of organic garden or yard material.
