It is unlawful to engage in the business of refuse disposal contracting without first having obtained a license therefor. Application for such license shall be in compliance with the general ordinance provisions relating to licenses as set forth in Ch. 110 of this code of ordinances. All license issued to refuse disposal contractors shall be for a period not exceeding one year and shall expire on April 30 of each year. No license shall be issued for less than a full year unless license is issued subsequent to May 1.
