§ 31.137 ADDITIONAL LEGAL COUNSEL.
   The Corporate Authorities may from time to time employ additional lawyers to perform specialized, consultant, or advisory services to the City Attorney, the Corporation Counsel, or the city in general. The City Attorney may recommend certain additional attorney appointments but said attorneys shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.
