§ 110.25 LICENSE FEE SCHEDULE.
   (A)   Fees.
      (1)   All business license fees for each category of business shall be charged as follows depending upon the category established in division (B) below by the City Clerk for the particular business category as identified and defined herein:

Those businesses engaged in manufacturing, transportation, light truck, automotive, accessories, sales, storage, food establishments and other activities.

Specialized activity where fee has been set permanently by specific ordinance, agreement or changed by fee committee/board.

      (2)   Copies of the license fee schedule showing the classification of businesses in the city in the above categories are available in the City Clerk’s office.
      (3)   The water account must be current and all moneys owed to the city against the place of operation must be current prior to a business license being issued.
      (4)   The full fee is due regardless of when it is purchased. It will not be prorated if not purchased at the beginning of the fiscal year which starts May 1 and, if it is paid after May 1, a late fee of 20% will be imposed. The business license will be good from the date it is purchased through April 30.
   (B)   No license previous year. In the event the applicant was not issued a license for the last fiscal year, does not appear on the license fee schedule on file in the City Clerk’s office or no such business existed for the prior period, then the fee shall be that charged for a comparable business activity.
   (C)   Classification. The classification of businesses shall be determined by the City Clerk upon submission of the completed application and the determination shall be final.
   (D)   Contractors and subcontractors.
      (1)   The license fee for general contractors and subcontractors is $110 for a fiscal year that starts May 1 and ends April 30.
      (2)   The full fee is due regardless of when it is purchased. It will not be prorated if not purchased at the beginning of the fiscal. The license will be good from the date it is purchased through April 30.
      (3)   Prior to any license being issued, the general contractor and/or subcontractor must present proof to the city that they or their company are licensed and bonded.
   (E)   Health inspections. For businesses requiring a health inspection before issuance of a license, such business shall pay $150 for one health inspection and an additional $150 for each subsequent reinspection that may be required before the business is found to be compliant for purposes of issuing a business license.
