§ 92.31 INOCULATION AGAINST RABIES.
   Within the period of January 1 to June 30 of each year, every owner of a dog shall cause the dog to be inoculated against rabies by the Rabies Inspector of the state or by his or her deputy, or by any licensed veterinarian. Evidence of such inoculation shall consist of a certificate signed by the person administering the vaccine, and a serially numbered tag bearing the same number and year as the certificate bears, which tag shall at all times be attached to the collar or harness worn by the dog for which certificate and tag have been issued. Such tags shall have been approved by the state’s Department of Agriculture.
