(A) Official city badges bearing a designation of the office held shall be issued to the persons holding the following offices:

(B) It shall be a violation of this section for any person to have in his or her possession an official badge of the city unless that person is holding office at the time of possession of the official badge.
(C) Every office holder to whom an official badge of the city shall be issued shall sign a bond in the amount conditioned upon the return to the City Clerk of such badge upon the expiration of his or her term of office or upon removal from the office.
