§ 72.16 VIOLATIONS.
   It shall be a violation of this subchapter for a vehicle to disregard a traffic-control device or turn on red in violation of § 11-306 of the Code. A police officer for the city must review and determine that a violation of the Vehicle Code, 625 ILCS 5/11-306, occurred before a written notice of violation is issued.
