§ 51.061 MAINTENANCE.
   (A)   The Water Department shall maintain fire hydrants in good working order. All hydrants shall be tested twice per year by the Superintendent or some other person designated by the Water Committee. Minor repairs or adjustments must be made at the time of testing. All major repairs must be reported, in writing, to the Water Committee.
   (B)   The Department shall keep hydrants clear of weeds to the extent that the hydrants will be visible from the street.
   (C)   The Water Department is responsible for the painting of hydrants as the need arises. This painting is to be done in accordance with the hydrant identification code established by the Fire Department.
