§ 38.12 TAX FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES AND DISASTER OPERATIONS.
   The Mayor may make an appropriation for Homeland and Security Emergency Management Agency purposes in the manner provided by law, and may levy in addition for Homeland and Security Emergency Management Agency purposes only, a tax not to exceed $0.05 per $100 of the assessed value of all taxable property in addition to all other taxes, as provided by the state’s ESDA Act of 1975; however, that amount collectible under such levy shall in no event exceed $0.25 per capita.
