§ 36.101 NON-PAYMENT; SUSPENSION OF LICENSE.
Should the Mayor of the city find, after a hearing conducted by him or her on not less than five days’ notice to the owner, firm, manager or operator of motel or hotel accommodations within the city, that the owner, firm, manager or operator has wilfully failed to pay the tax imposed by this subchapter, the Mayor may suspend, revoke or cancel all city licenses, permits or certificates held by the owner, firm, manager or operator within the city. A finding by the Mayor under this section shall not relieve the owner, firm, manager or operator of motel or hotel accommodations within the city of liability for the payment of the taxes as may be due the city, nor from prosecution therefor.
