§ 120.02 LICENSES REQUIRED.
   (A)   No person shall act or perform any services as a contractor or subcontractor within the city without first having obtained a contractor's license therefor as provided in this chapter.
   (B)   No person shall operate a construction or landscape business within the city without first having obtained a business license therefor.
   (C)   A separate license for snow removal by a landscape and lawn care professional or any snow removal contractor is required.
   (D)   Each vehicle operated by a landscape contractor or snow removal contractor shall at all times display a sticker in the front driver's side window that will be issued by the city's Building and Housing Department upon the completion and approval of a contractor's license application.
   (E)   Exemptions.
      (1)   Homeowners. The homeowner shall not be required to acquire a city contractor license to perform replacement and/or repair work on his, her or their primary residence.
      (2)   Plumbers. Illinois Department of Public Health licensed plumbing contractor and licensed plumber or as expressed in state statutes.
