(A) All persons employed by the city shall first by subject to a physical examination from a physician designated by the City Council, at city expense. Such physician shall be furnished job requirements and employment will be conditioned upon recommendation of the physician. Part-time employees for a period of 30 workdays or less shall not be subject to this section.
(B) Each employee shall be a resident of the city prior to and during his or her term of employment. Any variation of this condition shall be approved by the majority of the Council.
(C) No person shall be hired under the age of 18.
(D) All persons must possess the necessary qualifications to perform the duties of the position as established. No person shall be denied employment because of race, color or creed.
