For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
GROUP HOME. A dwelling unit shared by three or more unrelated persons, exclusive of staff, who require assistance and/or supervision and who reside together in a family-type environment as a single housekeeping unit and who are developmentally disabled, mentally ill, or impaired by chronic illness and/or mobility limitations with the aging process.
