For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
SELF-SERVICE DEVICES AND MACHINES. Any device or machine that provides goods or a service without the need for personal assistance in exchange for the payment of funds, whether through credit card terminal, coin or cash dispenser. SELF SERVICE DEVICES AND MACHINES shall include but not be limited to automatic teller machines (ATMs), air pumps, charging stations, electronic games, amusement devices, pay phones, newspaper machines, jukeboxes, pinball machines, SELF SERVICE DEVICES AND MACHINES does not include those devices or machines that serve food or drinks or video gaming terminals as defined in the Video Gaming Act, 230 ILCS 40/1 et. seq.
