§ 110.49 SUMMARY ACTION.
   The Mayor shall have the authority to summarily suspend a business license where there is reason to believe that any continued operation of any licensed business poses a threat to the welfare of the community. The Mayor shall issue a written notice stating the reasons for this conclusion and order a licensed business to cease operations for not more than seven days. The notice shall be sent to the premises and shall specify the date and time for a hearing, to be held no more than seven days from the date of the notice.
