§ 110.46 INVESTIGATIONS AND INSPECTIONS.
   (A)   The Mayor shall cause to be made all investigations reasonably necessary to the enforcement of this title.
   (B)   The Mayor shall have the authority to order the inspection of licensees, their businesses and premises, by all city officials having duties to perform with reference to such licensee or businesses.
   (C)   All police officers shall inspect and examine businesses located within their respective jurisdictions or beats to enforce compliance with this chapter.
   (D)   Any person may file a written complaint with the Building and Housing Department regarding the conduct of any business within the city. The Director of Building and Housing or his or her designee shall investigate all complaints and notify the business of the complaint and may conduct a meeting on the matter. If the Director determines that any provision of this title has been violated, he or she shall take any further action consistent with the provisions of this title and may also refer the matter to the Police Department or City Council.
