Repair or maintenance of a vehicle is prohibited on residential property, except on a vehicle owned by the occupant of the residential property and bearing valid state of Illinois registration plates and current city vehicle sticker evidencing that the vehicle is registered at the residential property address in question. No person may repair or maintain a vehicle of others on their residential property whether for compensation or not.
