§ 33.47 ADMITTANCE TO EXAMINATIONS.
   No person shall be admitted to or be allowed to participate as an examinee in any competitive examination, or any portion thereof, conducted by or under the authority of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the city, for the purpose of establishing a list of eligibles for appointment to positions in the Police Department, unless such person is an elector of the city and shall have been an actual resident of the city for a period of not less than 180 days prior to the date of the commencement of such examination.
