§ 33.46 RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT FOR EXAMINATION.
   No person shall be eligible to take part in any competitive examination or portion thereof conducted by or pursuant to the authority of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the city, for the purpose of establishing a list of eligibles for appointment to positions on the Police Department of the city, unless such person is an elector of the city, and shall have been an actual resident of the city for a period of not less than 180 days prior to the date of the commencement of such examination.
