§ 33.15 POLICE COMMUNITY RELATIONS OFFICER.
   (A)   There is created the office of Police Community Relations Officer. The Officer shall be appointed by the Mayor. The compensation of the Officer shall be as determined from time to time by appropriation by the City Council.
   (B)   The Officer shall have the qualifications for a municipal officer provided by the laws of the state and shall have a rapport with and working knowledge of the Police Department of the city and the community of the city.
   (C)   The Officer shall promote good relations between the Police Department and the community and shall work in close cooperation with the Chief of Police and the Mayor in promoting this goal.
