§ 31.366 ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES COORDINATOR.
   (A)   That there is hereby created the position of Administrative Services Coordinator.
   (B)   The Administrative Services Coordinator shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. Appointment to this position created by ordinance may be made from time to time.
   (C)   The duties of the person appointed to the position of Administrative Services Coordinator shall include, but not be limited to, advising the Mayor; planning, coordinating and implementing administrative services; managing records and information; providing additional office support services; developing and implementing comprehensive policies and procedures and a job flow chart for the Building and Housing Department; overseeing and ensuring compliance with fee collection process for business licenses, permits, tickets and other related fees; organizing and assisting with maintenance of Building Department files and documents; inputting and posting checks, cash and other revenues into city accounting system; processing bi-weekly payroll; monitoring employee timecard reporting; preparing and filing monthly IMRF returns; assisting with tracking of daily accounts receivable deposits and balances due; recommending process and procedure improvements; participating in cross training and additional job training; assisting with FOIA research and compliance; assisting with city project implementation; cross training for accounts payable functions; attending monthly safety committee meetings; helping ensure city compliance with Union contracts; implementing strategies to attain goals and objectives established by the city; reporting on matters related to the position of Administrative Services Coordinator; and presenting a monthly report of all work performed to the Mayor.
   (D)   The Administrative Services Coordinator shall perform such other duties as may be assigned or delegated by the Mayor.
   (E)   That the Administrative Services Coordinator shall receive as compensation for services performed such sum as set from time to time by ordinance.
