§ 32.171 PURPOSE.
   The purpose of the city’s Industrial Commission shall be as follows:
   (A)   To adopt bylaws and rules of procedure for the conduct of the business of the Industrial Commission;
   (B)   To survey all available property in the city suitable for industrial purposes;
   (C)   To make studies of potential tax revenue and potential revenue to the city resulting from the establishment of industry;
   (D)   To study the Zoning Code of the city to determine whether its provisions are such as to attract industry;
   (E)   To report to the Mayor and City Council the progress of the Commission and recommendations for zoning and other ordinance changes;
   (F)   To cooperate with the Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals in recommending industrial sites to the Mayor and Council; and
   (G)   To collect information relating to land ownership and other information required to interest industrial prospects.
