§ 157.03 HOW TO USE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER.
   (A)   The Director of Building and Housing shall be responsible for fulfilling all of the duties listed in § 157.04 of this chapter.
   (B)   To fulfill those duties, the Director of Building and Housing should first use the criteria listed in § 157.05 of this chapter, to determine whether the development site is located within a floodplain.
   (C)   Once it has been determined that a site is located within a floodplain, the must determine whether the development site is within a flood fringe, a designated floodway or within a SFHA or floodplain for which no floodway has been identified.
      (1)   If the site is within a flood fringe, the Director of Building and Housing shall require that the minimum requirements of § 157.20 of this chapter be met.
      (2)   If the site is within a floodway, the Director of Building and Housing shall require that the minimum requirements of § 157.21 of this chapter be met.
      (3)   If the site is located within a SFHA or floodplain for which no detailed study has been completed and approved, the Director of Building and Housing shall require that the minimum requirements of § 157.22 of this chapter be met.
   (D)   In addition, the general requirements of § 157.23 of this chapter shall be met for all developments meeting the requirements of §§ 157.20, 157.21 and 157.22 of this chapter.
   (E)   The Director of Building and Housing shall assure that all subdivision proposals shall meet the requirements of § 157.24 of this chapter.
   (F)   If a variance is to be granted for a proposal, the Director of Building and Housing shall review the requirements of § 157.06 of this chapter to make sure they are met. In addition, the Director of Building and Housing shall complete all notification requirements.
   (G)   In order to assure that property owners obtain permits as required in this chapter, the Director of Building and Housing may take any and all actions as outlined in § 157.99 of this chapter.
