(A) It shall be the duty of the Director of Building and Housing to see to the enforcement of all ordinance provisions relating to building and zoning and to inspect all buildings or structures being erected or altered as frequently as may be necessary to ensure compliance with the ordinances of the city.
(B) The Director of Building and Housing shall devote such time to their duties as shall be necessary for the efficient operation of the Building and Housing Department. The office of Director of Building and Housing is a full-time position.
