The district restrictions specified in the L-1 Districts shall apply to the L-2 Districts as if the same were set forth in this subchapter; except that, open storage of all raw materials, fuel, finished products, machinery and equipment, including company-owned or operated trucks and motor vehicles used by the company solely for its purposes and incidental to light manufacturing (specifically excluding therefrom motor freight terminal operations as subsequently defined) are permitted; provided that, the area on which these items are stored is enclosed by a fence of an approved type and design.
