Sec. 20-44. City reserves the right to cut off water.

   The city reserves the right to shut off the water in case of accident, or for the purpose of making connections, alterations or repairs, and it shall be the duty of the public works director to give notice to all consumers within the affected district at least one (1) hour previous to the shutting off, except in case of emergency.
