(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle or place any item on top of any water meter box.
(b) Upon verbal or written notice to the owner and/or occupant of any premises, any vehicle parked over or any item placed on top of a city water meter box must be removed within twenty-four (24) hours from the time of notification.
(c) Any person who violates or fails to comply with this ordinance, shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not exceeding fifty dollars ($50.00) or imprisoned not exceeding thirty (30) days. Each day that a violation continues to exist shall be considered to be a separate offense.
