Sec. 20-26. Applications for connections.
   Every application for a water connection shall state the name of the owner of the lot, the purpose for which the water is to be used, an estimated amount of water to be used daily, the name of the street on which the lot is situated, the number of the house, if there is one on the lot, or, if not, a description of the location of the lot, the number and kind of connections desired and the character of surface of the abutting street. Every application shall be signed by the applicant, shall be accompanied by the proper fee for making connections and shall be filed with the city water department.
