The city arborist shall have the following duties:
(1) Shall serve as a member or ex officio to provide technical assistance to the tree board.
(2) Assist the city staff and/or paid contractors with proper pruning practices.
(3) Assist the city with maintaining an inventory of public trees.
(4) Assist with tree selection and planting to add new trees and/or replace dead or diseased trees.
(5) Provide advice on public trees as part of capital improvement projects for the city.
